Congress is mulling over an economic bailout of Wall Street titans while main street Americans wait on the sidelines. While a US bailout of these financial corporations chafes most of us, unfortunately it is needed. These corporations have gambled and lost, lost on mortgages which have foreclosed and many other financial gaffes. Top leaders are now discussing the proposal. But something else they need to discuss is how to keep this from happening again. Our leaders are supposed to be watching the economy, so how did this slip right up on them? Hopefully the proposal Congress comes up with will not only bailout the big guy but help the little guy on thestreet also.
