Securing a credit card is not as easy as it use to be especially if you have bad credit. The day is gone when credit card companies sent mailings almost everyday to entice consumers to take their cards. People defaulting on loans and personal credit has made credit companies leery of bad credit customers.
The best way in securing a credit card after having bad credit is to show the credit card company you are a good credit risk. Ask for a low credit limit. Companies may be more apt to assign you a card if your limit is not too high. After you have shown the company you can pay your credit card bill on time, ask them if they could increase your credit limit.
Try using the 6 months same as cash offers and paying them off on time. The same as cash offers are more willing to loan to those with bad credit, so you can build up your good credit by using them. Just make sure you pay off the loan in 6 months as they normally tack on an oxorbitant interest rate after the 6 months are over.
